I was contacted recently by a local artist with some
information that I thought you might find interesting.

Misty Martin is organizing a new artist's group!

The first meeting will be held at her home in
DeRidder. It will be an informal gathering with
good food, conversation & art.

You're invited to bring a pot luck dish and some
of your art

and become a part of this new, creative project.

I'm very happy to see this kind of thing happen in our
local area. As more artists gather together and more
artist groups begin to form I suspect we may see a real
growth of public interest in the arts.

As an organization based on the principles of cooperation,
Diversity will do everything it can to promote the growth
of this (and any other) local arts group.
