Leesville's newly formed Downtown Merchants Association
has organized a downtown open house for this Saturday,
December 1st. A number of the Third Street businesses
will have their doors open for visitors.
Diversity needs some volunteer "art lions" for this event.
We need roving ambassadors to walk the sidewalks and
visit the businesses, handing out Diversity's brochures.
It would also be a great project for young people. If you
want to have some fun with it, you're more than welcome to
use George Wolfe's wonderful Lion King costume on display
at the gallery.

Saturday, December 1st
10 am - 2 pm
By the way, Diversity's Benefit Art Auction is now online
at:
http://www.diversearts.com/auction.html
100% of the proceeds go to support the victims of terrorism.
If you have a minute or two, please check it out.
Many thanks,
David

Seasons greetings from Diversity!
Diversity is growing steadily and becoming well known in
our little corner of the world, largely because of the
efforts of those of you who have volunteered your time
and shared your passions.
Additionally, after only 18 months, we're also very fortunate
to have a growing circle of friends who help spread the word
about Diversity and it's inclusive, egalitarian principles.
A brief, illustrated history of Diversity's growth is available
online at: http://www.diversearts.com/schedule.html
It's my belief that this kind of growth is possible only when
individuals choose to cooperate together to achieve commonly
held goals. Thank you for finding something of value in these
principles and for your continuing support of Diversity.
Happy and safe holidays to you and yours,
David

Hello everyone,
The Vernon Parish Tourism Commission is discussing a possible
project that would involve local and regional artists.
They're interested in original work depicting the unique
architecture in the Leesville area. Your work would eventually
become part of promotional material available to a very large
audience.
Details of the project are still being discussed but if you'd
like to be included, please call Diversity or the Tourism
Commission.
Many thanks,
David
